The Insurance Information Institute has created a new online resource that allows homeowners to document their household personal property. In the event of a loss the insurance company will need to gather information on any property that has been taken or destroyed. The Insurance Information Institute's Home Inventory program is a free online database that allows you to upload pictures and document items and their value in a secure online environment.
